Video Game OST Projects
Fractured Conquest is a dark-fantasy MMORPG mixes PVP and PVE elements scheduled for early access release by the end of 2026. For this project I opted for a fully orchestral score alternating epic fight themes, atmospheric yet memorable ambience tracks, and more dense scoring for the most important locations in the game.
Blood Aliens 3 is a story-driven space shooter released on Steam in 2025. For this project, I was commissioned to score the opening and ending cinematic sequences. I developed an orchestral score with patriotic and dramatic undertones, highlighting the heroic nature of the protagonist’s journey.
Mechs and Titans is a boss-rush game centered on mech combat. To give each antagonist a distinct identity and maximize contrast between encounters, I developed a hybrid score combining a wide range of genres, from electronic and metal to orchestral rock.

Concert Music
A follow-up of the first "Mosaïques", "Mosaïques No. 2" deepens the concepts explored in the first opus. This piece was created in 2024 and performed on multiple occasion across Belgium and France. The present version is not a recording but an orchestral mock-up of the piece I created on Dorico.
Rehearsals and Concerts for Mosaïques No. 2.
Orchestra: Etesiane Orchestra | Conductor: Gabriel Hollander
Mosaïques is an orchestral piece mixing different genres (cinematic, romantic, jazz...) which was commissioned to serve as a prelude to a performance of Tchaïkovskii's 6th Symphony. As its name suggests, this work is structured in very contrasting sections, each one centered around a specific esthetic. The present version is a recorded concert excerpt.

Orchestra: Etesiane Orchestra | Conductor: Gabriel Hollander
Full concert review from the classical music webmagasine Klassiek Centraal on Mosaïques:"....The full orchestra – the Etesiane Orchestra is a full symphonic orchestra – opens with the world premiere of 'Mosaïque' by composition student José Lebreuilly. Right away, a name to note, because if you're looking for a composer with talent for a fine commission, you've come to the right place. A modest young fellow who knows what music is, who knows what an orchestra is. What a relief! This is what I would truly call 'contemporary classical,' in the sense of what 'classical' stands for: something timeless, lasting because it's so beautiful.Lebreuilly treats the listener to tonality, with respect for music, the tonal colors of the different instruments, harmony, melody, emotion. Yes, a beautiful mosaic indeed! For once you don't get a barrage of question marks and aren't left wondering "what on earth does this composer actually want?", no, you get a symphonic sample of what fortunately can come back today. More and more composers are turning to tonality and harmony, to lines that make sense. It's hopeful."

For more music:
Sound and music are central to the emotional experience of video games and film. José Lebreuilly creates immersive atmospheres and haunting melodies that leave a lasting impression on players and audiences.Drawing from a wide range of influences—including classical, cinematic, electronic, jazz, metal, chiptune, and Latin music—he combines styles in distinctive and creative ways.A skilled orchestrator, his symphonic works have been performed on multiple occasions and have received positive responses from both audiences and critics. His concert music also serves as a space to explore different musical languages and expand his artistic horizons.Alongside his early work in music, he received high-level training in physics and mathematics at École Normale Supérieure de Paris, later completing a PhD in physics and working as a researcher at institutions including Yale University until 2020. This background informs his analytical approach to composition, particularly in the design and implementation of complex adaptive audio systems. His services include original soundtracks for video games and film, trailer composition, orchestration and arranging, concert and band compositions, adaptive music design (FMOD/Wwise), and in-game audio integration.
